True/False:

Custom tags can be nested and can communicate with each other?
My Answer: False.
Tags can be nested. The inner tag can communicate with the outer tag (using getParent() or findAncestorWithClass(...) methods). However, we agreed (in someother thread here) that an outer tag doesn't know its inner tags.
Hence, I assume an outer tag cannot communicate to the inner tag.
Am I missing something.........
Thanks.

You are 101% right. There is no method mentioned in the specifications to communicate to the inner tags from outer tags.

While there is no method through which outer tags can get inner tags, they can communicate...
Well, apparently my understanding is wrong (the communication part) according to the J@Whiz simulator.

I don't know what they (J@Whiz) mean by "communicate". Strangely enough their example is NOT nested. This was a weird qstn and so I wanted to know what other here understand.
Okay, the inner tag can get access to the outer tag using the methods I mentioned but how can the outer tag get access to the inner tag?
communicate DUH!!!
