Hi all,
I passed the SCWCD test today. Score 70%.
I would like to thank all at JavaRanch ( from Sherrifs down to Greenhorns ) for making learning such a fun, rewarding experience.
For those of you prepping the test here's how I got my beautifil 70%
About the test:
I got 6 or 7 fill-in-text questions but they weren't too tricky.
There were more questions on the JSP/Tags objectives than on Servlets.
The questions seemed to come in topic groups which as nice.
There were a lot of "pick 2 answers" type of questions - more than I expected - which are harder that single answer option ( but easier that if they dont tell you the number of correct answers at all ).

About my prep:
I printed the Servlet and JSP spec and had them bound and read them from cover to cover, twice, underling and writing in the margin Then I started doing mock exams; JavaRanch ( getting 80% or so), Anand Chawla's exam( I got 66% and 70% on that one two days ago), Sun's example exam( just 10 questions - a bit useless!)
I got a friends copy of Core Servlets and did about 50% of the exercises.
I printed up the objectives and went back to the specs and extracted answers to all the points and used that as a pre-exam refreshener.
I also compared my notes to Michelle's notes from the Links page here and filled in what I hadn't spotted my self.
Bye,
Terry Doyle

Thank you all for your responses. I'll be around the forum occasionally to help - if I can - in the future.
