Thanks to all of you here.
Took the initial survey (not sure how it effects the exam, if at all). I was psyched to see foreign language stuff immediately after the survey....which was nothing but the agreement.
I mean can't they tell you in plain simple english. Worst thing is that the clock started ticking and the agreement had numbers. DUH!! they are not part of the exam and the numbers are not question numbers. Will the entire exam have this foreign language...nooo! I hate surprises.
Okay after three screens the exam started......
Pretty decent for most part. There were some tricky questions. Most questions came in groups (on the same topic). Sorry, I din't count the number of qstns from each topic.
Most of my preparation was here on the javaranch. The Specs and "More Servlets and JSPs" come very close... . Listeners are important. I also used the SCWCD@Whiz. It helped, but not too impressed though, there is quite a lot of room for improvement to this tool. I never bought it you know, it was one of those book giveaways.
Filters - no qstns on that but was one of the options to something.
Patterns - go an extra mile and learn about other patterns also (Don't limit yourself to the four patterns in the objectives). Not just the choices, one of the answers was not the four that's mentioned in the Objs.
API - Also, very important. The farther you go the better it is. Draw a line where you are comfortable. I knew this is my weakness, but then I had to draw the line somewhere..
Beans and Tags: Good number of questions here also. Surprisingly I lost quite a bit in Beans, can't think of too many qstns. (I know one bean qstn is wrong, I checked it after I got back).
Sessions: I had a fair number of qstns on this.
Overall it covered almost everything. I am currently walking the objectives to see what wasn't covered.
Anyways, thanks again and Good luck.
