Hi,
I'm appearing for the exam in the coming days, I have read in this forum that there r lot of questions on Front Controller..., Pls. if anyone can make me understand what Front controller, its purpose & functionality ??

Look from here for the link J2ee pattern catalog. There you'll find some text about front controller (you need to register, but its free).

The page produced has a "Search" box in the top right hand corner. When I enter "front controller" and press "Search", the very first search result tells me all about front controllers.
Alternatively, when I click one of the more promising looking links on the same page, "J2EE Patterns Catalog", I get to a table with "Front Controller" displayed prominently in it.
I hate to say this but, erm, how hard did you try?
