here every one recommend "core servlets"
but I think it is an obsolete book. As lot of things are missing(implicit object are 9 and he writes they are 8 ('exception' is missing)).
I might be wrong as I have not finished full book but still anyone can recommend any good book other than "Core Servlet" which he has gone through.

For SCWCD, I recommend More Servlest and JSP's. If you can wait a couple more months, then there probably will be some SCWCD Cert book on the shelf. I know atleast two that are in print, if not out there....
and don't forget the Specs.

Jason Hunter's Java Servlet Programming is a good book. Better check out the Bunkhouse too.
