me too. Previous link was better. It had advanced features like member id, date etc. Google search returns all rows. I dont feel like searching at Java ranch site any more.

I just searched on Pauls Member ID - it worked fine.
It looks like the UBB Search was crashing the server almost twice a day. SOMETHING had to give. The google search is about a billion times faster also.
I will move this to the JavaRanch forum.

Problems with search:
1) It was crashing the servers twice a day. ejip.net, our provider, was getting a little annoyed about coming in at three in the morning to start the servers every day.
2) It was slow. It could take 10 minutes to do a search across all forums.

Hi Cindy and Thomas,
i have put a similar request in web page and have explained to the core the difficulty with the present search facility by google. google is faster i agree, but we are not able to do the search which we had been doing all the time.
I would really appreciate if this is implemented.
thanks in advance
