Hi Guys !
I am planning(have started) to cover the following books:
-Core Servlets and JSP
-More Servlets and JSP
-Professional Java Server Programming (Allamaraju)
-SCWD study kit (Deshmukh),and CD
-Servlet/JSP API
-Servlet/JSP specifications
-Design patterns (from links given in java ranch thread)
Is this more than sufficient or OK .
I have got one more JSP book -JavaServer Pages Application Development (Ben Forta,Smith,Scott).
Should I touch this book or the above material is sufficient for JSP.
- Do XML need much attention ?
SCWD's please guide !
Thanks !

Hi,
I am also preparing for the SCWCD. I started with More Servlets & JSP (where necessary the book refers to Core Servlets, which is available online).
When I finish this book I will use a study guide to really prepare for the exam. Of course I hope to win this weeks give-away...
I already bought the Sybex Web Developer Certification study guide via Amazon - so if I do not win, I'll probably use that one.
I used more or less the same approach for the SCJP: start with a generic book (e.g. Beginning Java 2), and prepare for the exam using a dedicated study guide.
In addition visit the JavaRanch regularly.
Success ,
