Hi,
I am proud to say that I am Sun Certified Web Component Developer for J2EE!
I read Servlet spec 2.3 and JSP spec 1.2. Read every notes and took all mock exams at Javaranch.
Especially, I liked the elegant & detailed notes from "Alx Dark" and to-the-point notes from "Miftah Khan". These are great for Design Paterns.
Also, "Anand Chawla's" mock exam was very useful to test my knowledge in design pattens.
Be aware of all kinds of Listeners and get clear understanding of thread-safety in servlets(as I had heaps of questions on it) apart from APIs, web.xml and tlds within the scope of exam's objectives.
Not to forget, I also had tons of questions on distributed web applications so it is another area that needs your attention.
All the best.
