With the recent upgrades of SCJP to 1.4 and SCEA to include EJB 2.0 is there a similar plan for upgrade for the SCWD Certification ?
Thanks

Since SCWCD exam is based on Servlet 2.3 and JSP 1.2 there is nothing to upgrade it to... yet. The next versions of the Servlet(2.4) and JSP(2.0) will probably be finalized somewhere close to the end of this year. Maybe then Sun will think about upgrading the exam, possibly with the inclusion of JSF if that pans out.

So, is it worth it to take the exam right now OR should one wait till early next year to take the exam ???
Of course, if the new versions would be introduced end of this year, Sum might take another good 6 months to come up with the new exam.
