Hello,
I am about to finish my first run on Deshmukh study guide.
If we consider a particular class, the book covers certain areas of the API e.g.If we consider the ServletConfig class, all the methods are not covered. Is it reqd that we know ALL the API methods??
Apart from the book what other initial preparation is reqd before I start taking the mock exams?
Please help.
Thanks in advance ....

Hello Rohit,
I'm not 100% sure what you're asking for, but I think you are asking what else except for what is in the study kit we need to know for the scwcd exam. From what I have understood the only preparation needed is that book and then to practise with the different mock exams. For more preparation-tips read some of the messages from people who have competed the exam, they usually give you some insightful and good tips.
Regards

Dear Rohit,
The Study Guide covers only the important methods or u can say most used but u must go thru API and Specs. The approach should be go thru all methods but do imp. ones thoroughly.
Don't neglect API/Specs in any way.
Hope this helps !

Thanks guys,
I will definately look into the API details.
Also the java ranch discussions help a lot.
Its always better to get some tips from the guys who have passed the exam !!!
