The SCWCD Exam Study Kit by Manning seems to be the reference plus people who used that book seem to get good results on the exam!
Good luck

I initially followed and executed some examples from the "Core Servlets and JSP" book by Marty Hall, downloaded it from the internet. That gave me an initial feel of both Servlets and JSP. (I didn't have to buy one book for each). Since the Servlets and JSP specs covered in this book is one version old, I tried to avoid the advanced topics. Then I got the Manning's-SCWCD book and currently going thru that. For me, I think the initial reading of Marty Hall's book was needed to better prepare myself to tackle the SCWCD guide.
Hope this helps.
Thanks, Sudd

Hi,
Manning's SCWCD book - Is this the one by Hanumant Deshmukh?
Thanks

I got a Professional JSP 2nd ed., by Wrox. I am not sure whether it is out of date now. I took the exam a year ago.

Followed the same path of Sudd Ghosh and also recommend Hall's book. Also read Goodwill's Developing Java Servlets, but I do not recommend for learning Servlets or JSP. It is good to know where and how to apply them though.
