Hi,
I have installed j2sdkee1.4 ,which I suppose contain Tomcat5.0
Can anybody tell me where to put the HelloWorldServlet classes (from Manning CD) in this j2sdkee1.4 directory structure.
I tried to put it in "C:\j2sdkee1.4\web\server\webapps" directory, but get the following error.

HTTP Status 404 - /chapter01/servlet/HelloWorldServlet
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
type Status report
message /chapter01/servlet/HelloWorldServlet
description The requested resource (/chapter01/servlet/HelloWorldServlet) is not available.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apache Tomcat/5.0

Can't I use j2sdkee1.4 instead of installing Tomcat5.0 ??

hi Shweta ,
Did you put it in the webapps directory ?
or in the 'classes' directory as follows ? :
C:\j2sdkee1.4\web\server\webapps\MyWebApp\WEB-INF\classes ?

Hi Engin,
Yes, I had copied the whole chapter01 folder in the webapps folder.
So, my HelloWorldServlet class lies in the following path -
C:\j2sdkee1.4\web\server\webapps\chapter01\WEB-INF\classes
