Dear all,
How should we do if we want to specify the actual data source at deployment time?
If we use deployment descriptor to fulfil that?

Hi Daniel!
It is quite common to use a symbolic JNDI-Name in your web-application for the datasource (something line "jdbc/demoAppDB"). The concrete data source is binded in the JNDI namespace of your application server in a vendor specific way.
Check out the element "resource-ref" in web.xml for details (e.g. in Servlet 2.3 Spec).
