Dear all,
I want to know what is the default ServletContext?
And in distributable applications, why it is in only one JVM?
thanks

Default context is ROOT. And according to servlet specification, there is only one default context in distributed environment. For derails, gothrough servlet specification 1.3, 3rd chapter

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
