While browsing, I observed that this forum has got very few technical topics compared to the many non technical topics.
Which is unlike the typical javaranch technical forum that i like.. (SCJP, Advanced Java are the ones i frequently browse)
Does this mean that the SCWCD exam is a little too easy to crack and score??
just wondering

SCJP----->Entering java(fun).
After SCWCD------> Looking for a job!(real world)

i personally feel to most extent SCWCD tests stuff that u would invariably use when creating servlets/jsp's , as opposed to SCJp etc which sometimes asks questions which are not necessarily main stream every day use java features.
so if there are any doubts people are more likely to ask question in the servlet jsp forum. i think there are very few ambiguous exam specific questions if any .

Amol -
I agree, this forum has not been very usefull in the last few days. Seems like everyone just wants to post whether or not this certification is usefull. I have my test scheduled for 8/11 and have not been able to find many questions to answer. I hope it gets better over the next few days, but I'm not counting on it.

Another way to look at this is that if there were no non-technical threads (99% about how the cert. is worth nothing) there wouldn't be more than 2-3 posts per day on any subject. I'm personally very tired of the "cert is worthless" type thread but I've also been very disappointed in the total lack of activity in general.
I'm not sure why there's no activity here. Maybe people have given up on this certification. Maybe they've gone to the new one instead. Anyway it does seem unfortunate since asking and answering questions is a good way to learn.

Hey Amer,
Boy I thought it was depressing reading about job experiences here. It's far worse on the jobs forum, I mean in terms of the number of people having trouble finding jobs. I sure hope this changes soon.
And I'm sorry to hear you've joined the club of the unemployed. Good luck in finding a new job quickly.
But remember, No Worries! At least I hope not.

hi all,
i cant agree the fact that there is not much technical discussion in SCWCD forum..most of the commom technical issues are already posted in the forum. If i have any doubts, first i wll make a search in the SCWCD forum than posting my doubt as such..i didnt have posted many of my doubts coz i found the answers for my questions somewehere in the forum..
amer sorry to hear that u r in the unemployed army..man, u have inspired me alot..ur explanations are really wonderful...if i were an employer, i wld have seleted u without an intrview.. NO WORRIES AMER
Thanks
Raj
