Can anybody explian the difference between page and pageContext?
page = this, is an object that implements the interface Servlet, rarely used.
pageContext = is a PageContext object, a useful object that you can use in JSP pages and custom tags through which you can, for example, find and manipulate any attribute of any context (application, session, request or even page), you can forward/include other pages, etc.
page : The instance of the JSP page's servlet processing the current request. Not typically used by JSP page authors.
pageContext: The context for the JSP page. Provides a single API to manage the various scoped attributes. javax.servlet.jsp.PageContext
