Howdy there SCWCD pardners -
I just wanted to introduce myself as one of the new moderators on this forum. If you cowpokes go easy on me for a while, I'd be in your debt. Let's keep it friendly, no cheating at cards, and we'll all have a good time.
- Bert
p.s. I will be working with Bryan Basham on a new SCWCD cert. book for the updated version of the exam that will be coming out early next year. There will be lots of opportunities to share mock exams and the like between now and then.

The new book you guys are working on, is it going to be in the Head First series?

Andres -
Hey good to see you here! I enjoy working with you in the SCJP forum - your posts are great!
Faisal -
Yes, the SCWCD book we're working on is a Head First book. When the Head First SCBCD comes out next month (we hope  ), O'reilly will probably post a few free samples on their website so you can see whether or not a Head First cert. book is your style.

I am little bit confused here.
I am planning to take SCWCD sometime in November of this year.
Haven't started studying for it at all..
Do I need to worry about new exam ?
Would the new Book on SCWCD ( Head First series ) be useful to me ?
Clarification is appreciated.
By the way, I used Bert Bates and Kathy's book for SCJP 1.4, and I
liked it very much.
Thanks
Mahendra

We won't see the new SCWCD exam until some time next year.
