page directive : isThreadSafe
A boolean literal indicating whether the JSP page is thread safe.
Default value: true

What happens when the JSP page is translated to servlet? Is it going to implement the SingleThreadModel interface because the default value is true?

The answer to my question was 3 pages ahead

if isThreadSafe is set to false, the container dispatches the requests to the page one at a time in the order they are received. This is equivalent to implementing the SingleThreadModel interface for servlets..
