Hi all,
I passed today my SCJP exam with 91%. My next goal is to take Web Component certification on Jan 5th.
My background is in Visaul FoxPro, SAS and Oracle etc. I am new to Java. I guess not quiet new after passing SCJP exam.
Can any one please guide me in terms of what is the best course of action to gain max score in two months preparation on part time basis. As I am short of time, I do not want to read anything that is not needed for this exam. Please advise how much time/effort should be spent on reading books, taking mocks, actual programming etc.
Thanks all
Barkat

Hi Barkat,
Congratulations on your SCJP and welcome to this forum. You could follow the links to the FAQ, links and mock exams given at the top of the SCWCD forum page. What you essentially require is a good working knowledge of JSP, Servlets. Many people follow the book from Manning "SCWCD study kit". Supplement it with a study of the specs and take as many mock exams as you can.
Above all, keep visiting this forum for clearing any doubts, clarifications you might have as also to help others preparing with you for the exam.
All The Best.
