Hi,
the methods
int doStartTag() & int doEndTag() in the javax.servlet.jsp.tagext.Tag interface require JSPException to be included in the "throws" clause of the method declaration. However, if i include
import javax.servlet.jsp.JSPException
in my java file, the compiler objects saying that it is unable to resolve the symbol JSPException in the javax.servlet.jsp package..
So where do i find the JSPException class..? I have set my CLASSPATH to <doc_root>/myDir/servlet.jar and other import statements
import javax.servlet.jsp.PageContext etc are working fine..
Regds,

Please excuse folks,
got my answer.. It should be JspException & not JSPException...
A lil' bit of lethargy creeping in!!!
Thanks

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
