Does SCWCD 1.4 require EJB experience?

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
I've received an email from SunCert@thomson.com.
It says:
"Exam: Sun Certified Web Component Developer for J2EE 1.4 (bold) It is strongly recommended that beta test takers have 6-12 months experience in Enterprise JavaBeans(TM)."
Does this exam really require EJB experience, or the letter contains a mistake?

Me too received the same Email.
why should we have EJB experience to take SCWCD 1.4 beta exam?
I don't think there is any thing mentioned regarding EJBs in SCWCD beta 1.4 objectives.

I think that's just a mistake. There is no EJB part. In fact, SCBCD covers about EJBs, not in SCWCD.
May be the email was saved as a template, since SCBCD beta exam was announced and asked people to send about their info... I think the email sender forgot to modify the template email...

I did not receive the email, why?

Successful completion qualifies you to become a Sun Certified Web Component Developer for J2EE 1.4, you must be a Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform (any edition). . Scheduled Worldwide January 19, 2003.

Also I guess there is another mistake that the date is January 19, 2004.

The beta includes Core J2EE patterns like Business delegate, Transfer Object which requires basics of EJB.
You would be much easier to understand if you took that bucket off of your head. And that goes for the tiny ad too!
