Hi, Sun Cert staffs;
Thank you for your New Year gift - free voucher for the scwcd beta exam.
One comments though: Please allow drinking water at least, (well, allow Coke even better) and then, allow going to washroom during the non-stopping 5 hours exam . I don't mind 5 exhausted exam, and I will give good comments on each question, but if no water allow in the test room like in SCJP exam, I will die, and can't think very well just after 2 hours (Drinking water will help to think better). Please, Please, take this consideration; at least allow water in the room. Any comments and consideration will be appreciated! Thank you in advance

Ali u r absolutely right.
I will suggest that the exam should be divided into two parts with 30 min break in between. So that people can refresh themselves.
Otherwise sitting continuously for 5 hours in front of PC

And that would differ from a regular working day, how?
Seriously, I'm surprised they haven't allowed drinking water/coke in the test room (they do in Finland, and it's either water or Coke/Pepsi/Sprite/whatever)?

Hi,Pradeep Bhat;
Tell me which prometic test center gave your the tea, I will go to that center to take the test.
It seems that no sun cert staff give any comments on this thread, disappointed!
Well, taking a long break, or divided the exam is not practical. I hope some sun cert staffs should have some sympathy or humanity for the poor guy begging for water during the 5 hrs exhausted exam. I believe what I am asking is not too much, just water.

Ali no one can stop you for drinking water anywhere unless it's medically prohibited, you can take/buy your bottle of water and drink whenever you want. Sun or Prometric should not have any issue, I hope every one understands 5 hours are long enough for basic needs.

Well, I took and passed the SCJP at Dec 9th, 2003 - less one month ago at the prometric test center in CDI College in Barrie Ontario, Canada (Site#:NO138), I asked the permission to bring a bottle of water with me to the test room. The answer is absolutely no drink, no food in the test room. No food - understandable and make sense, But Water? NO!!! OK , only two hours, I can stand it. I still passed the exam with 96%. So, your anwser still need to be justified. That's the reason why I raised the issue here. But I still hope you are right, or prometric center will make a new rule to allow bring in water in the test room. Thank you!

When I took the 4 hour SCJP beta they let me take a bottle of water into the testing room, and they let me take a "bio-break" - although the clock did not stop ticking...
I would write to Evelyn about this.

Thank you, Bert Bates
If you have any confirmation, please post the news to this thread, and email to all the prometric test center if possible!
