Dear SUN 311-081 Beta candidate,
This is a short note to let you know that the 311-081 Beta exam, "SUN CERTIFIED WEB COMPONENT DEVELOPER FOR J2EE 1.4", was published 2 days early, and will now be available starting on January 14, 2004. To schedule your exam, please contact Prometric, at the numbers listed below. If you have any difficulty scheduling your exam, please let us know, and we will assist.
How can you receive the message from prometric
Now Am i availiable to register the exam
when do you want to take the exam?
till now ,still no advanced about the beta exam message, how do you prepare?
do you go to read through the jstl spec?
by the way ,why so late for your scjd score?I just receive on last Friday.
Do you had Ocp ,i am going for it,how long did you get it?
how foutunately for you,I spend all the certificate by myself
do you feel the the Ocp is easyer than java cert?
what is "JavaServer Page " and "J2EE PATTERN"please give me a link as reference ,are there pdf for them?
where are you from,India?
but i dont agree that you say the beta is not so appeal for people, because Kathy and Bert will think the web exam will appeal so many people(for too much people worked on Jsp and servlet),so they can not provides so more materials for it not like SCBCD,after all many people are familiar with the web component ,though people had not take a good preparation ,they also can take the exam well,so they two perhaps think that more people will take part in it.
REceived email confirmation from sun saying that my registration expiration date is 14th Jan 2005.........i think its a mistake.
I know the last day for take the exam is 6th Feb, why nobody register for that day arh?
Hope to clear up any confusion...
There is a certain number of beta exams that Sun will provide for free. Call that number X.
Because not everyone who gets a voucher actually shows up for the exam, Sun gives out more than X vouchers. The first X people to show up and take the exam will be the sample group to help Sun determine how to fine-tune the test for its live debut. Once X people have showed up to Prometric and actually taken the test, the beta is over. It could take 1 week for enough people to show up, or it could take 6 weeks. On another thread I *guessed*, (and it really is just a guess!!! ), that most everybody who goes to prometric within the first two weeks will probably get in, and that by the third week it's more likely that if you go, you may be too late. Remember, it's just a guess!!!
If you are amoungst the first X people to take the beta (the only ones who will), then it doesn't matter whether you take it early or late - Sun wants the entire sample population of test takers! So if you're in you're in!
