The objective only mentioned "use appropriate JSTL", so do we have to learn JSTL APIs such as ConditionalTagSupport LoopTagSupport etc?
are there any questions on these issues in the beta?
Thanks

Yes, Henry, we do have to know about the "core" tag library of the JSTL 1.1, which are not that difficult to learn for those, who have ever used JSTL b4...

I was under impression that JSTL APIs are not part of the Beta exam only JSTL Tags. Could you please clarify?
Thank you!

I agree with Seid, because in my opinion these classes are implementation of JSTL. And we are not required to know that.
Correct me if I'm wrong
Thanks!

Here is what I've extracted from the Beta SCWCD updated exam objectives...

9.3 Given a design goal, use an appropriate JSP Standard Tag Library (JSTL v1.1) tag from the "core" tag library.

We do have to know how to use the core library... Hope it is clear...

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
