Hi,
I took beta exam yesterday. It was very hard for me.I had to answer 163 Qs in 5 hours of time.I finsihed in 3.15 hours,as much of the stuff related to EL and JSTL in which am not confidant.
Qs related to servlets and jsps are easy.lot of tricky Qs on taglibs and HTTp security stuff..
I came to know that there is a beta exam just 3 days before and then I bought a book and prepared.I am not sure of the voucher too,but atlast I got the oucher and then I went for the test.
I just had 2 days time to prepare for this beta exam.I might not given the test if it isn't free.
The book by Deshmukh and Malavia is excellent. This is the only tool I prepared for 2 days, didn't even able to take any mock exams.I feel,if the author includes JSTL,tag files,EL and some more j2ee patterns in detail, then it will be the best 100% passing Book for the next web component developer exam.
thats all I have to say,
cheers,
visu
