I would like to clear SCWCD some time in March then go for SCBCD.Do I need to wait of the 1.4 version of SCWCD to be live? if then how long?
Please suggestion an option.

Hi Vinod,
Up to now, we cannot tell when SCWCD 1.4 will be released exactly. Generally, the new exam will be launched at about the end of March or the beginning of April, but it is not announced offically.
In addition, you should also consider your study progress. If you are ready for the current exam, just go for it. It is because there are a large portion that 1.3 and 1.4 are different. For example, the newly added objectives on EL, Custom Tag, JSLT, etc are quite new. There is currently no study books available for this exam, you can only learn it from Web resources or books that are not focus on the exam objectives.
Or, as you have experiences in EJB, you may consider first take SCBCD and then SCWCD 1.4, if you really want to wait for the new exam.
Nick.
