Hi all
Is there a max value in respect of number of attributes or size of attributes a session object can hold.

From servlet specification 2.4, page 224, SRV.15.1.1:
'A browser is expected to support 20 cookies per web server, 300 cookies total, and may limit cookie size to 4 kb each'

Is there any direct relation between number of session attributes and cookies?
I don't think for every attribute there will be a seperate cookie. One cookie is enough to store session id, and with that session id, server will be able to retrieve session attributes(which are at server).
Thus IMO there is no restriction on number of attributes or size of attributes. But increasing the number of session objects beyond certain limit, may cause performance issues.
