I just would like to know which way we can check the result of the SCWCD 1.4 beta exam result?
1.Snail Mail from Sun, U.S.
2.Online Sun Cert Manager
3.Prometric, 2test.com
Or any other means to get informed?

Personally, I'd be inclined to say method #2, but it all depends on how they're handling it internally once the scoring is decided upon.

Hi all,
Firstly, as Evelyn said, we will get our results 4-6 weeks later after the exam period ended (which is Feb 8), and now, just 4 weeks past, and thus, I think we need to wait 2 more weeks at least.
Secondly, the SUN's I7 site is NEW. I can login into it, providing that I create a new user account. Since it is new, I dont think anyone can previously logon into it, it needs a new set of userid and pwd.
The original CertMgr site contains 3 functions, (1) personal info and (2) history and (3)score report. After the upgraded of the system, it contains ONLY the third function. The first and second funtions have been moved to I7 site.
Hope this help.
Nick.

I am not able to register in the site http://www.certmanager.net/sun/. It always says "We could not find a user meeting the specified criteria. Please review the criteria and try again. ".
KoKo, how did you manage to register?

Lakshmi, u need to see the registration number on the SCJP score report and enter it, while registering... At first, I think that it was the Prometric ID... But No, it's not Prometric ID Number... It's registration number from your score report...
All the best with your registration...

You need to be patient, Shoban. It's probably another two weeks or so before they release results at the earliest.

I think so... The Test Center should be started with the shortname of the country in which you took the exam... Since I took the exam in Thailand, the test center starts with "TH"... Hope you will be able to register soon...

Hi Ko Ko,
We need to wait for 2 more weeks at least.
I have a feeling that I am waiting for my SCJD result....
What we can do is to wait. Nothing else.

Yes, Nick, we have to wait, but I just would like to know which way is the fastest to know... In these days, u know, I checked both websites that I mentioned above and waiting for the snail mail from Sun... I'm longing for the result with a long long neck...
How about the way that you get the result for SCJD? Which way do u know the result first? Snail mail from Sun,U.S.? or from I7 site?

I got my result from the original site of CertManager.
After I took the essay exam, the status of the test in I7 is FAIL. After waiting for 2 months, I received my SCJD results, and 2 days afterwards, the I7 status changes to PASS, and I saw the cert. kit has finished processing.
Thus, I still feel the result will be 1st delivered via CertManager, then I7, the snail mail.
Nick.

Score will only be shown in this link:
http://www.certmanager.net/sun_assignment/
NOT this link:
http://www.certmanager.net/~sun
Please notice that, the I7 database will only show you pass or not, the certification kit is sent or not, nothing else.

I think I will also fail this time. I didnt even look at JSTL and EL questions in the beta exam. This wasn't enough to fail.....I wrongly answered many more questions I wish i had studied a few days
Anyways, when is the beat result is expected to release and when the SCWCD 1.4 exam ??

Yeah, I do agree with this sentence... I've learnt EL, Simple Tags and Tag Files in the SCWCD beta exam... that's what I benefit from taking the exam...
