On the SCWCD test, do we need to know all the different names that a design pattern can go by?

For example, The Value Object is also known as the Replicate Object and Data Transfer.
The Data Access Object is also known as the Data Access Component.
etc..
Thanks,
Terrence

If I remember correctly, the design patterns are all listed on the exam objectives. You should be familiar with them, their names, and their goal/usage. Beyond that you won't be tested. So, you shouldn't need to worry about aliases.

I guess you need to know, at least, for yourself.
In SCWCD 1.3, we have Value Object pattern. In SCWCD 1.4, we have Transfer Object. In fact, they are referring to the same pattern. Thus, you need to know the 2 are referring to the same pattern.
Other than such difference, if the objectives do not mention about certain patterns, you are not expected to see them in the exam.
