hi,

Does SCWCD 1.4 covers all elements in web.xml ?.I have seen some people mentioned they encounter question regarding ejb-ref in the exam.
So do we need to know about others like WebService and JMS (service-ref,message-destination) for exam?

Regards

Hi Raju,
I've passed SCWCD 1.4 with an unsatisfactory score
What I found is that you have to know every element and
structure about web.xml.
ejb stuff will be there (at least it's in my exam).

You also have to know inside out of the following topic
JSTL 1.1 core lib
EL
SimpleTag
Tag File
CustomTag
TagLib

They will assume you are in the expert level competency in
the question.

Make sure you've memorize and understand
core j2ee design pattern required by the exam.. (They are tricky)

Make sure you have studied the
SCWCD 1.3 Exam kit from Manning
Jsp 2.0 spec,
Servlet 2.4 spec.
SCWCD 1.4 Study guide from Mikalai Zaikin (some of the objection is incomplete)
and also some JSTL books
JSP books.

BTW, don't bother taking old exam from SCWCD 1.3. Most of them
don't apply. The question are more difficult, it's more of
describe than identify the syntax stuff.

You can try the whizlab scwcd 1.4 or jwebplus V4. They will
help you pass the exam.

Best of Luck!

Ling
