Hello All,

I write a simple servlet and add <servlet-mapping> in web.xml, it works properly (when I type the url, it goes to the servlet mapped by servlet-mapping). However, when I comment the <servlet-mapping>, I cannot access the servlet again through the servlet-name.

Could anyone tell me whether it works to access a servlet through its name ?
If so, how to do it ?

Thanks,
Jack

This depends on your web container. Consult its documentation.
