From SCWCD Kit:


The JSP tutorials from Sun describe two architectural
approaches for building applications using the JSP and
servlet technology: the JSP Model 1 and the JSP Model 2
architectures. The difference lies in the way they handle
the requests.

Are there any other formalized approaches for building
web sites, besides Model 1 and Model 2? Or are other
approaches a mix of both?
