Hello there,

It is August. What is the status of Head first Servlet and JSP?
We wait it for a long time. Check oreilly.com, but there is no any useful information about the book.

Good luck to everyone who is eager to read the book.

Hi Guys,

The book ended up being bigger (and harder), than we thought, but your wait is almost over, look for it in 2-3 weeks at Amazon, in stores, etc.

Thanks for your patience! We're sorry for the delays - we hope you'll like it. Our philosophy was - take a little extra time to make it right and we'll be forgiven if it's late, we hope you agree!

You can download free book from here Servlets and JavaServer Pages: The J2EE Technology Web Tier

And you can follow the specification and official exam objectives.

Alhough real understanding is of utmost importance, but challenge is to concentrate on those portion of specification that you are tested on in exam.

I am definitely frustrated about the extra wait (When I originally ordered it on Amazon, it had an estimated shipping date of July 12). HOWEVER, considering the quality of their previous books, I am willing to be patient (and forgive as Bert requested!). The Head Start books are simply head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to exam prep. I am still using other resources to help prepare, but I will wait to schedule my exam until I receive HF JSP.

Looks like I have to re-schedule my scwcd exam

I pre-ordered this book one month ago, and havn't got any response from
amazon. That means even if they start to ship the book now, I
still need to wait for at least 1 week....

When can I get the book???

Relax guys - amazon did send an email the other day about delays on the book - the best estimate for the order is on the book's page on amazon rather than the estimated delivery (the estimates are not updated when the release dates change etc). I'm sure the publishers are working a hard as possible to get the book out with as few errors as possible - they want your money remember
