O'Reilly researched *where* the book is... and here's the official word:
============
"B & N placed a bindery shipment request in order to have the book available early for a promotion, and B & N.com gets their inventory from the regular B & N distribution centers, so that's why B & N.com had the book before Amazon. The books have been shipped out from our warehouse, and Amazon should have their order today or tomorrow, and we think they'll start showing it available for sale Friday or Saturday."
============
So, for some reason it seems to have been delayed a week somewhere in transit, but it looks like only a few more days. We didn't know about the special B & N thing, so it did look confusing that they had it before Amazon... and again, we expect that B & N will restock almost immediately and start shipping it from their website again in the next day or so.
Once again, our apologies to everyone who's been waiting for their shipments. There should be no problem filling all orders--as I said, O'Reilly printed more than enough to take care of all the backorders.
cheers,
Kathy
