Hello Group,

I am actually not a new member. I took the help of java ranch when I gave my SCJP 1.4 on Dec 19th 2004. I passed with 88%. I read Head First Java and 'Java 2: SCJCP and SCJCD' by Siera and Bates. HFJ is a very basic book and SCJCP is awesome. I had no experience of java before preparing for the cert.

I just ordered my HFSCWCD. I have no experience on servlets and JSPs. I did work lot on PHP. I am glad to be a member of the group and will look forward to share the knowledge.

Harish

I am also new here in Java Ranch, and I am also thinking to take this SCWCD.

What is HFSCWCD? Who is the publisher and so fort?

Thanks,
Ron

Thank you all for your warm welcome.

I have ordered my HFSCWCD from www.bookpool.com. They sell computer books at a very cheap price....cheaper than Amazon. I have bought several books from them and they are perfect in shipping. New books price in bookpool is lesser that used books in amazon....can you believe that....check out yourself. I dont think bookpool sells any used books.

Pawan, you are correct. I gave my SCJCP on Dec 19th 2003.

Harish
