Maybe it's just because I got creamed on this mock exam ;-) and I want to turn a 60% into a 67% (which does sound a lot better), but no matter the motivation, I'd like to ask the friendly folks here what they think...

"C" says "Attributes bound into a session are available to any other servlet that belongs to the same ServletContext" (the bold is mine).

The spec (found herebtw) says exactly that, but the sentence goes on to say "and handles a request identified as being part of the same session."

Well, yeah, if you have access to the same session, then sure, you can get to the attributes. We know the session only lives in one context at time. But the way I read it, any other big-brother servlet could stick it's nose in my attributes! No way!

So I'd say changing from "are available" to "may be available" would be one way to solve the problem. Or just uncheck "C".

I think you're right, Dale, because of the way you interpreted the question, so give yourself some extra credit

While "C" IS *technically* correct, it needs more of a qualifier to be absolutely unambiguous, and the way it stands now, whether checking off "c" is correct or not depends on how you interpret the sentence, and your interpretation would mean that "C" should not be checked. Answer "C" really needs more words, in my opinion, to make it perfectly clear.

We'll have to tighten that up to make it less vague, but for now--definitely count yourself as right and raise your score a little

And on the real exam, you will not find questions and answers that are open to interpretation, because they've already gone through an extensive review process. So if you find some fuzzy questions on our exams, don't let that worry you about the real exam, and when we do our next printing, we'll take your advice and make this one more clear.

cheers,
Kathy

I can't see how to get from ServletContext to the session again .
