Hi,

I am trying to compile my servelet code and forward the result after a model output to JSP as follows. The problem is I get a stackoverflowerror as soon as I call the forward method. Same problem whether I use GET or POST. Im using tomcat 5.0.29 as the webserver.

Somebody pls help me out.

Regards JPK

Stack overflow means it's got stuck in a loop calling itself somewhere.
I can't see anything to indicate this in the code you submitted. The only albeit unlikely thing I can thing of is that your attribute name "asd" is the same name as the jsp page "asd.jsp". While this shouldn't cause a problem, it's the only thing I can think of that *might* conceivably cuase a problem. To eliminate this from the diagnosis, can you rename the attribute to something else e.g. "dsa", recompile, redeploy, and try again?
