"Construct the correct structure of the deployment descriptor."
What does it refer to?? Does that mean I have to remember the whole dtd file for web application??

Hi,
It means you might need to remember snippets of the xml, and moreover the DTD are not there is 081.
now everything is replaced by XSD.
I guess this list you should be able to remember
1.servlet (registration)
2.servlet-mapping
3.url-pattern(for extn and wild cards)
4.Listener
5.filter
6.session-config
7.welcome-file-list
8.security-constraint
9.auth-constraint
10.user-data-constraint
11.enc entries
12.jsp (registration as a servlet)
13.context-param
14.distributable
15.disabling the el or/and scripting
16.global header and footers
17.security
18.roles
I guess this should be a good start

You also need to know the correct format of the elements.

For example, <welcome-file> is a valid element, while <welcome-files> is not.

Hmmm...

This is a tricky one to answer...

I'd say that there isn't very much "trivia" on the new exam when it comes to the DD. The intent of the exam is to make sure you understand how key DD elements work, it's not meant to trick you on stupid stuff like misspellings.

For instance, you might get questions on how the <web-resource-collection> sub-elements are structured, but this isn't considered trivia because this is key to understanding web container security.

You might also need to understand the overall structure of the DD, and deployment issues, but again, the new exam is far less trivia oriented than the old exam, and far more oriented to testing for understanding the important concepts.
