I have a questions regarding the JAVAX API.
When I install the Tomcat in my machine will I get all the JAVAX API or do I need to Insatll J2EE from SUN site ? I do have J2SE in my machine.

My basic requirement is I want to compile Servlets.
Thanks fro the reply.

You do get servlet javax API with tomcat. The simple reason is your jsps are converted to servlets on tomcat and for this you don't need J2EE installed on your machine!

<tomcat-home>\server\lib\ has all of it. Just install and start playing with it. You dont need any total j2ee app server if you just want to work with jsp/servlets.
