I was wondering how long it would take to get the book delivered to your address.

hi,
i was announced as one of the winners in this forum on Oct'23, its almost a month ... i have not received the book so far. I had sent couple of mails to Dirk, unfortunately there was no reply from him either.

I'm not here to blame anybody, its just i'm so curious to have the book and go through it once.. i have always been a great fan of HEAD FIRST books.
I already have Head First EJB & Head First JAVA, just waiting to see HEAD FIRST SERVLETS.

Wait for the book patiently.

It usually takes 2-3 months before you received.

It really depends on the publishers in fact. I won Mastering JSF in Mar, but till now, I did not receive the book.

So, just be patient to wait for it.

best of of all I really need it in this period, since I have to go for ICED

I dont really think you need it for ICED, as most questions are based on UML, only a small portion is about design patterns for 486. For 287 and 484, they focus on J2EE patterns, especially those tested in SCWCD, as the book focus on GoF patterns, it might not be that help.

but I didn't receive it yet.

You might try contact Dirk. In Feb, I won Howard's book for 287, as I needed it urgently that moment becos I needed to rush for the deadline of ICED promotion, and I received the book 21 days after I won, and I passed 287 2 weeks afterwards.
