Vishal, Vishal, Vishal....

You KNOW you're not going to learn what the teacher wants you to if you just get someone ELSE to think about it for you!

Why don't you write us a sentence about what YOU think about each of those choices, and if after you do that, you still can't guess the right one, we'll be glad to help.

Hi Dale

I am no exponent of J2EE. I am a newbie trying to pick up threads. If my question irks u a lot then I think u better ignore them.

I have to actually do state management in J2EE(never done before). I have received conflicting views on the performance of the all the approaches mentioned above.

HttpSession looks the one which scores over others from what I have read (NEVER IMPLEMENTED). So please dont ask my comments on which I think is a good approach. I don't think I should pass judgements on any particular approaches without appropriate practical experience(which I am now getting in the process of my work on the above mentioned).

May be in the near future I might.

Aniways
Even with the above approach(HttpSession) I have a concern whether

1)is it possible to share http session object between jsp & ejb
2)what are points to take care in passing serializable objects using http
session

Only when I can allay all these concerns I can be judicious enough to choose a particular approach
