Not a great score, but hey, got certified. I spent 3 weeks for the preparation with prior working experience.
1. HFS Book. read the full book twice. Thanks to Kathy/Bates and Bryan. They are the best. 2. Browsed thru the servlet spec once. 3. Went thru EL, JSTL and custom tags again just before the exam. 4. Went thru the forum questions in the javaranch. 5. Did all the free mocks: j2eecertificate/whizlabs/webPlus/jdiscuss/javaranch/sun twice and went thru all my mistakes.
Found one question on filters which was not covered in HF book. Also the questions on EL and tags were kind of tricky. Patterns were very straight forward.
Next is SCBCD. Got both HF books (Serv/jsp and EJB) at the same time from bookpool a month back. So it time now to jump on HFEJB. Thanks to all the ranchers.
Let's try to stick to congratulating and asking questions of folks that have recently passed the SCWCD. Resurrecting 3 year old stories might not be all that helpful. [ September 14, 2007: Message edited by: Marc Peabody ]
