Hello Everybody,
I am planning on taking the Sun Certified web component developer test in the next 6-9 months time frame. I am a Sun certified programmer (4 years ago) and i have used little Java in my day-to-day work.
Can someone please suggest
1. where to start?
2. What books to read?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Siva,

You can start with Head First Servlets and JSP. You can get a lot of stuff for exam and I think it is the only book for SCWCD (1.4)

cheers,
Sudhakar.

The 'Head First Servlet & JSP' is excellent book, and another SCWCD 1.4 book - 'SCWCD Exam Study Kit Second Edition' - is going to be released in January, 2005:

It was very good for SCWCD 1.3 and I anticipate it will be very good for 1.4 too.
