Hello Java Ranch Users,
I am preparing for SCWCD using the G8 Brain Friendly Guide HF Servlets and JSP -Kathy Sierra.
Do we need Head First Design Patterns for the exam? .I request the authors of the HFS series to write a new book for java projects, real time usage and some exercises and assignments in the HFS series.
I have Advanced Java How to Program -Deitel.The exercises are really challenging and really a feast for Java Brainz..

It's humble request too.
Thanks

Karthik

If you are Java certified, and you have read and understood the HFSJ book, you should be able to pass the SCWCD certification. Design patterns are cool, but not on the test.

Well...

There are a *few* design patterns on the SCWCD exam...

But we discuss them in the book! (The SCWCD book)

I seem to remember a couple design patterns were on my exam that weren't covered in the HF book, but that chapter would probably be enough if I didn't know the others already.
