When I appeared SCWCD, I had to cover only Servlets, JSP, JavaBean, XML and a few Design Patterns for the exam. I dont know teh objectives of SCWCD 1.4 well. But I found there are many new J2EE specifications coming that might be added in the future SCWCD exams. I am listing a few here and would like your comments on them or a few adition from you as well.

* JavaServer Faces
* Servlet Filters
* Portlets (JSR 168, 1.0 final draft)
* Portlet Filters (should come up in Portlets 1.1)
* JSTL

Filters and JSTL are included in SCWCD 1.4. And IBM 348 focus on Portlet.
