Example of resource-ref in DD?

Hi, I'm going through the questions at the end of the deployment chapter. It is said that also the <resource-ref> element can be declared in the DD but I can't remember of any example in the book. Could anyone make an example for such tag?

Also, as I'm asking for help, could someone explain again to me the use of <jsp:invoke fragment="...">

Here is the DTD and example for <resource-ref> element in web.xml:
