Guys,

I have started on chapter for scriptless JSPs in HFSJ.

On Page 389 I see that name of tag lirary decsripter for an EL function can be anything and doesnt have to be same as uri ...

I couldn't make it work that way, I get error '/DiceFunctions file not found'.

when I change name of TLD to DiceFunctions, it works fine.

There is still another error showing, but, at least it does not give error '/DiceFunctions file not found'

Therefore, is it right that :
TagLibrary Descriptor file for EL functions should have the same name as uri used in JSP ?

Regards,

Raj

No it's not. I created a tld file called jemos-tags.tld and the example worked fine. The name in the <uri> element in your <taglib> directive and the name of the <uri> element in the TLD file must match, but that's all.
