Hi friends

I am a new guy to java ranch community. I just cleared SCJP 1.4 last week with 91%. Now I am planning to prepare for SCWCD. Can any one tell me about the path way for that?. Like with what I have to start with?. Thanx in advance.

Hi Narayanan,

First of all hearty congratulations on a very good score
For SCWCD...I prefer you to first refer to HF Servlets And JSP book by Kathy Seirra and Bert Bates
After going through that just go through some specs(mentioned in the book itself)
Then you can take the mock exams and write the test and score the same percentage that you could score in SCJP.
Welcome to the forum.

Thanks,
Javainn,

Like she said.

I'm in the same boat as you (I only got 81% though). I've been going with the head first book for almost a week and I'm almost ready to take a shot at the test and before I was a complete newbie to JSP so I would just keep going with the HF book and do as many mocks as possible to prepare for the exam.

I also find that answering other peoples problems in the forums helps you do some research and recall so I'd give that a try too. And then you can feel good about yourself because you're helping other people.
