Hi

Thank you all for your support.

Thanks to Kathy, bert ... for the great book.
I know i needed to post results in results forum but i'm posting here to thank this forum's members for answering my questions(I hope it's not offensive).

My score in EL & Standrad actions was bad which reduced the overall score.

I have a question about choosing career path.

Right now I do not have any real experience in programming, i'd like start trying for a job within the next 5months.

So, the real question is:

inorder to get confidence to apply for a job( to get better weight to my resume) is it better I do a project( for all those 5months) based on my knowledge sofar or whether to do SCBCD also and then do a project. So what do u suggest about how to utilize my 5months time.

I do not have any idea at all about EJBs, so i'm not sure how long it might take for me to write SCBCD. May be I can spend only 3hours a day for either project or BCD( together).

Thanks
Suma

Congrats Suma. You did great. Didn't you?

How much did you score on the HFS&J final mock? How much on enthuware tests, if you did them? If you've posted them before, Sorry, I did not take the trouble of searching for them.

Can you elaborate your preparation starategy and your scores on the mocks.

Regarding your question on choosing a career path, I'm in no position to comment.

Hi chowdary

I read HFSJ & took some mock exams.

I got 66% on hfsj mcok exam. I got around 10 wrong answers in that mock because i didn't know howmany correct answers are there.

After taking the hfsj mock, i did some mock exams on j2eecertificate.com, jdiscuss.com, whizlabs demo(free) mock exam.

Like someone already told, u'l get around 50 questions for which u don't need to think twice, they are so easy. Ofcourse, that doesn't mean, u should answer those question without a second thought. (i answered all those easy questions without thinking twice and got three of them wrong which i would've answered if i rechecked them before finishing the test).

If u don't bother about the score and just want to pass, HFSJ is enough. But if u want to score (close to) 100%, u might have to go thru the specs(which i didn't do).

good luck
Suma

Hi All,
newbie to scwcd ranch forum. Just wondering to find which version of JSP and servlet are been asked in the exam. Guessing from my understanding its servlet2.4 n JSP2.0. Could any of the successful and aspiring arms clear me on it.
