Hi,

firstjsp.jsp

secondjsp.jsp

In the above code Iam trying to redirect from firstjsp to secondjsp when an error occurs. In the firstjsp request.getParameter("abc") returns null.

Problem is when I specify tht the secondsp is an ErrorPage(isErrorPage = "true") then its going to Page cannot be displayed.

But when I remove the isErrorPage = "true" in secondjsp its redirecting to secondjsp.

Can u tell me where did I go wrong?

Thanks in Advance
Vineela

I don't think anything is wrong with the JSPs.

Kumar, the container calls the error handler jsp/servlet if an exception is thrown.

the code looks ok to me too..

The code looked Ok to me me too... but just to be sure I tested it out. no problems. When you try to link to firstjsp.jsp you are directed to secondjsp.jsp as expected.
